Release Notes

This is the second release of TSL.NET. This v0.2.0 release is a Beta but it is the first release candidate for v1.0.0 Production. User/developer feedback is requested. v1.0.0 can be expected soon after a few open issues in the tracker are resolved. We will see 0.2.1-n and possibly a 0.3 with various tracker items addressed.

Expect minor breaking changes until the first Production release. These will be minimized as much as possible, and care will be taken to document breaking changes. That said, the code structure is now stable and breaking changes to existing method signatures and other class members is not likely at this point.

All implemented functionality is expected to work. There are no known bugs in this release aside from what's already listed in the tracker. However, the code has not yet been proven in a live app. User/developer feedback is requested.

See the Issue Tracker for issues posted against v0.1.0 and v0.2.0.
Please update the Issue Tracker with all issues found including problems with core functionality (REST, TwiML), samples, examples, and documentation. At this point, missing functionality should be considered an unintentional omission. If you know of missing functionality, please check the tracker and create a new feature request if you don't see the feature listed there.

The Full Source download contains:
  • All source for REST and TwiML.
  • A WinForm Sample project that demonstrates how to make REST calls.
  • A Web Sample project that processes requests initiated by the WinForm project, and returns TwiML.
  • A Test project that simply generates TwiML for viewing and verification of proper functionality
  • A WeatherClient project used by one of the samples.

See the Documentation pages for details about code functionality and running samples and examples.
